Historia
Historia conformation
   Historia KR: 2004 PRE Mare
(Gavilan IV x Huelva III)

Historia's sire is the gorgeous stallion Gavilan IV, bred by Pedro Maza. Her dam, Huelva III, was bred by Luis Arenas Garcia. Historia is a big, forward moving dressage prospect with the disposition that we strive for in our horses. She was started under saddle last fall and has far exceeded our expectations. Her intelligent and willing attitude exemplifies why this breed stands above others when you desire a riding partner instead of just a mount. Historia is bred to Heroe MAC for a 2009 foal.

Huelva III: 1987 PRE Mare
(Pregonero XI x Odalisca 1981)

We are proud to announce the arrival of Historia's dam, Huelva. I have been so enamored with Historia that I began researching her maternal bloodlines. Huelva has produced many foals, consistently passing along her fantastic disposition. It seems that everyone I have talked with who knows or owns one of her offspring says the same thing- they are quiet, kind-hearted, loving horses. Huelva was imported to the US from Mexico where she was bred by the esteemed Luis Arena Garcia. Huelva's dam, Odalisca 1981 also produced the famous stallion Genio III. We are so grateful to Ketcham Ranch for the opportunity to own such a grand mare. Huelva's 2009 foal by Kamiakin (Kianto x Rafaga JIM) is the result of careful line-breeding to the famous mare Odalisca 1981, concentrating traits seen in Odalisca's famous offspring Genio III, Huelva, and Jarana, to name a few. Click her photo link to view more images, and photos of previous offspring.

Chanel
Chanel conformation
   Chanel: 1998 PRE mare
(Imperioso D x Taranta)

Chanel is a Denham-bred mare who embodies all that we want to be breeding. A gentle temperment, good size, and correct forward movement for dressage. Chanel's dam Taranta has also produced the well known stallions Bravio and Altanero D. Her sire Imperioso D is a magnificent 16.3 hand dressage stallion with a Piaffe to die for. This line of horses has tremendous bone and movement! For us, one of the biggest attractions was the extremely kind, gentle, temperment that this mare will pass on. She literally is the total package!
Chanel is bred to Soberbio XII for a 2009 foal.

Campanera
Campanera conformation
   Campanera II: 1985 PRE Mare
(Legionario III x Garbosa XVIII)

Campanera was our first Andalusian mare, thanks to Ami MacHugh of Jackass Mountain Ranch. We are thrilled to have this outstanding daughter of Legionario III with us. She is the dam of 2002 IALHA Grand National Champion Senior Stallion, Santiago. Campanera is kind, loving, and classically built.
