Nicola GF

Nicola's bloodlines need little introduction. Her sire, Gaucho III, is one of the most accomplished and important Grand Prix PRE dressage sires in the history of the breed. Gaucho III was imported from Spain where he was trained by Juan Matute of the Spanish Olympic training team. He was subsequently shown in the United States by Janne Rumbaugh. He is also one of the few Qualified PRE breeding stallions in the United States. Nicola's dam, Ninfa GF, is an Indiano XVIII daughter, and a Regalado II granddaughter- demonstrating strong maternal dressage lines as well. Her mare line is known for an exceptionally quiet, kind temperament. Nicola's full brother is the stallion Noble GF, a young exceptional dressage prospect currently in training with Michael Etherly in California. Her full sister Nexus GF is in dressage training with Tracy Rauch in Southern California.
News: Nicola was started under saddle in February 2010. She is being slowly and methodically developed correctly and shows great promise in the dressage ring. Nicola is the perfect blend of regal quietness, ultra sensitivity, and forwardness that is exactly what we look for in our dressage prospects. She is a horse that was amazingly easy to start under saddle, and who any level of rider could ride in the ring. If riding schools were full of Nicola's, everyone would want a PRE horse.
As tempting as it is to breed her to Crucero this season, we are going to continue to advance her dressage training and life skills.
