REFERENCE STALLIONS

  Kamiakin (Kianto x Rafaga JIM) is a 3 year old revised PRE stallion bred by Ami MacHugh, and owned by Katie and Scott Hill of Dayton, OR. His website is coming soon: www.waterwayfarms.com. Kamiakin is a full brother to the well-known stallion Davidoso, who has won many National Champion Movement awards. Kamiakin is well started under saddle, and is proving to be an exceptional dressage prospect.

Huelva is in foal to Kamiakin for 2009. This cross reflects a careful line-breeding to the well known mare, Odalisca 1981, dam of both Genio III and Huelva. From this cross we would expect a foal with a kind temperament, good bone, correct breed type, and sensational movement.

We have chosen to breed our mares to the breathtaking PRE stallion, Heroe MAC this season. Heroe was bred by Miguel Angel Cardenas and imported from Spain to Texas where is owned by Karen Rock (www.prehorses.com). Heroe is the perfect example of a classical Andalusian in looks and form, with the movement desired by dressage enthusiasts. He stamps his foals with his "look" and movement as consistently as we have seen with any PRE stallion. His foals are also known for being kind and easy to handle, which is of utmost importance to us in our breeding program. He has been known to throw a diversity of colors including bay, black, and chestnut. However, ability to throw color was not the priority in the selection of this stallion because, quite frankly, when a horse is this good, color seems irrelevant! Soberbio is a 16.2h, 5 year old PRE stallion imported from Spain last summer to Chestnut Equestrian Center in Ontario, Canada. Soberbio is by Ebanisto, out of Hacendosa, bred by Yeguada Villa Mazzara. Ebanisto is a champion of Spain and 3 time National Dressage Champion of France bred by Salvador Guardiola. Ebanisto is a phenomenon and is without a doubt one of the biggest moving Andalusians alive today and he's recognized as being a producer of offspring with exceptional movement. Hacendosa is a medal-winning mare of Escalera lines who formed part of a well known Cobra in Spain. SOBERBIO was chosen not only for his extraordinary bloodlines but for his generous, calm nature and fantastic rideability. The photos shown here show him literally days after having graduated to being ridden off the lungeline with a rider. He is respectful and sweet yet gives the rider a feeling of sitting in a sportscar! He possesses power, elegance, agility and exhibits it all with ease and grace! He was born to be a Dressage star!
